Plavay Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Plavay! By booking a trip, experience, or vacation package with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Our goal is to make your travel experience smooth, safe, and enjoyable while keeping everything transparent.

1. Booking Policy

  • • All bookings must be made directly through the Plavay website for transparency.
  • • Full payment is required at the time of booking. We do not accept part payments, cash, or transfers made outside the website.
  • • Once full payment is received and confirmed, you will get a booking confirmation and detailed itinerary via email or WhatsApp within 24-48 hours after payment.
  • • Guests are responsible for providing accurate personal and contact information during booking.
  • • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

2. Change of Activities

  • • Each customer is entitled to one (1) free activity change within 2–3 days after booking.
  • • Any request for changes after 3 days from the booking date will attract an additional fee of ₦20,000.
  • • All change requests are subject to availability and must be communicated through official Plavay channels (website support or verified representative).
  • • Plavay reserves the right to decline a change request if it affects the availability or schedule of other planned activities.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made:
    • • 7 days or more before the trip date — eligible for a 80% refund.
    • • 2–3 days before the trip date — eligible for a 60% refund.
    • • A day before the trip — non-refundable.
  • • If Plavay cancels a trip due to weather, logistics, or safety concerns, guests will receive a full refund or an option to reschedule.
  • • Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days after confirmation of cancellation.

4. Check-In and Stay Policy

  • • Check-in and check-out times depend on your selected accommodation and will be listed in your itinerary.
  • • Guests are expected to follow property rules and maintain good conduct during their stay.
  • • Any damage to property, facilities, or equipment caused by a guest will be charged to the guest.
  • • Plavay is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items during your trip or stay.

5. Travel and Activity Policy

  • • Guests must follow all safety guidelines and instructions from Experience coordinators.
  • • Plavay reserves the right to deny participation to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs or behaving in a way that endangers others.
  • • Some activities may have age, fitness, or clothing requirements, which will be stated in your itinerary.
  • • Guests are responsible for having valid identification and travel documents where necessary.

6. Changes to Itinerary

  • • Plavay reserves the right to make minor itinerary changes due to weather, safety, or other unforeseen conditions.
  • • For major changes, guests will be notified promptly and offered suitable alternatives.

7. Liability

  • • Plavay partners with third-party hotels, drivers, and experience providers to deliver services.
  • • While we ensure quality, Plavay is not liable for accidents, injuries, delays, or losses beyond our control.
  • • Guests are encouraged to obtain personal travel insurance for added safety and protection.

8. Code of Conduct

  • • Guests must show respect to fellow travelers, staff, and local communities.
  • • Harassment, discrimination, or misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the trip without refund.

9. Privacy and Data

  • • Plavay values your privacy. All personal information collected is used solely for booking, communication, and itinerary purposes.
  • • We do not sell or share customer data with third parties.

10. Agreement

By completing a booking on the Plavay website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
